“Yoganesh is a great little studio! I’ve recently stated attending Andrea Arnold’s lunchtime express classes (45 minutes) through ClassPass and they’re just perfect. The location is super convenient for office workers near penn station.. Very close to Herald Square/MSG and the length of class makes it easy to fit it in during your lunch break without having to skip out on savasana (the best part of class, am I right?!). There are two dressing room-style changing rooms and a shared bathroom that is just down the hall which is key for the lunchtime workout. They have mats for rent and water for sale, cash only I think. Now for the important part – class! It was. Small group – 6 or 7 maybe. There was plenty of space and Andrea was able to walk around and adjust/assist with no problem if you like that. She led us though a class that was both invigorating with fun, unexpected transitions but also relaxing with seated positions and some breathing in the beginning. It’s definitely an all levels class as she guides you through modifications for whatever you are looking for that day – more ease or a more challenging practice. A perfect lunchtime pick me up. Will be back, thanks yoganesh!” Erin H.
“I absolutely LOVE this studio! I did an amazing Puls’d (similar to groupon) deal for 20 classes. The instructors here are stellar–I’ve taken classes with Andrea, Ellie, and Wendy—all are very knowledgeable, super friendly, and give great instruction. I really felt that I learned a lot about yoga and proper techniques. Lots of classes to choose from, even a lunch time yoga class which is great for those who work! All classes are popular, some are quite full and others lots of space, but I’ve never been turned away. Love the friendly vibe of this place, even the studio manager at the desk learned my name and greeted me each time. Plants and simple decor in the room make for a relaxing vibe. Definitely recommend this place x 1000, especially if you live or work nearby! I will definitely be returning!” Amanda C.
